This year Trap League starts 9/5/06.  It cost $54 for members & $70 for nonmembers. Payment is do by the second week of league. Price includes 16 rounds of trap, 8 from each trap, over 8 weeks. There will be one make up week then an awards party at the Headquarters Restaurant on the first Tuesday in November. Practice rounds are extra at $2.50 for members and $3.50 for nonmembers. Payment for league will be by check only. Your canceled check is your receipt. Payment for practice will be by cash.

Teams will shoot in the order they arrive and sign in after the traps are ready which will be between 6:15 & 6:30pm.on Tuesday nights.

League members shooting for score will have priority over anyone wanting to shoot practice rounds. If a team is missing a member any league member wishing to shoot for score will have priority and will be used to fill the team. If there are none, someone wishing to shoot practice should ask if they might shoot in place of the missing member. This is encouraged but not required.

Teams wishing to shoot 2 rounds in one night in order to shoot ahead, or make up a missed round will have to wait until all teams have shot at least 1 round before shooting there second round.

All guns must have the actions opened and contain no live shell or empty shell at any time, except while the shooter on the firing line and at the proper station. On break open type guns the action may be closed when in a gun rack. Alcohol and drugs impair judgment and will not be allowed before or during shooting.

When the contestant fires and fails to break the target whether missed completely or when only dust falls from it. When an illegal target or a freak target is fired at and missed. A contestant may refuse illegal or freak targets but if fired at the result must be scored. When a commonly called "soft load" occurs and the wad remains in the barrel the contestant may call for another target. But if the wad clears the barrel the target must be scored.
