I bought this radio because it was so strikingly similar to the 1935 tabletop Parmak that I already had. The tabletop's story was very interesting, and I guess I kind of "bonded" with it. So, I couldn't resist also buying this "member of the family". (I'm just guessing when I say it's from 1935. And the "1935" is based on the tabletop's 87 year old original owner telling me that that's when he bought it.)
